When you come across a great writer, it’s hard not to tell everyone about how great they are. Lee Murray’s books cover a vast amount of speculative fiction from thrillers to adventures, and children’s books to horror. And it’s not very often I can say this from such a diverse collection, but I’ve enjoyed every single story I’ve read. Lee Murray’s a brilliant author and well worth looking out for.

Most people love the heroic Taine McKenna, but my favorouite character was Jules – because she’s a rare sciency character who acts like a scientist and not a caricature. Her speculations on the monster were such a lot of fun.

The Path of Ra series with Dan Rabarts
A dark fantasy crime thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat – written from two very different perspectives…
Pandora Yee lands her first contract as scientific consult to the police department. And with seventeen murder cases on the go, the surly inspector is happy to leave her to it. Only she’s going to need to get around, and that means her adopted brother, Matiu, will be doing the driving. But something about the case spooks Matiu, something other than the lack of a body in the congealing pool of blood in the locked room or that odd little bowl.
