Te Pae Tawhiti Convenor

Hey, sorry there’ve been so few posts this year. One of the reasons is my involvement with the Te Pae Tawhiti Awards. (The other is I’m flat out finishing two interconnected series) But I just had to stop by and say I’m so excited to be part of its inaugural year as we celebrate the fantastic fantasy, horror and science fiction authors of Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Speculative Fiction is such an important genre to explore new possibilities, and I loved doing this interview about it all with the amazing Cerid, of Curious Cerid. To find out more, click on the article…

Also, stand by because at some point I’m going to have a post about all Herbert (my cat’s) terrible horrible no good very bad year.

P.S. I never did get around to posting about Herbert. After quite a few leg injuries and ulcerations from cat fights he got a claw in his eye. We went to a lot of trouble to save his eye, but he lost it anyway.

Poor wee thing, but he’s used to it now and very good at judging distance, at least around the house.
