Happy New Year 🥂

Do you have your goals all lined up? I’d love to hear them. Art (and books) to create? Books to read? Special jobs. Exciting new opportunities? Let me know in the comments.

So my big goals for 2026 🥁🥁🥁

Format EM’s Dragon Masters Kickstarter series
Format Blood of the Fae and the DragonSociety Papers for paperback
Finish 2 of my mostly-finished children’s books and write a new cosy set in Kymæria (Blood of the Fae multiverse)
Added down the bottom is 2026 Unexpected wins ????? (Because unexpected is fun, and who doesn't want unexpected wins)

It’s a long list, but much is partly completed, I just have to do the hard work of keeping on going and using the magic of the new year to reaffirm priorities. A new year always does feel full of exciting possibilities—and it’s been great to use the time between Christmas and the New Year to plan as well as to keep on writing. I’m hoping that when I check this out at the end of 2026 I’ll not only have managed these goals, but will have found some more unexpected wins! It’s what makes life interesting.

❤ And yes, if you’re a reader of this blog, I am planning to post more often. It’s just in 2025 my goal was writing, writing and more writing. And that’s not going to stop until my two books are out and about and I can take a breath!

So wishing you happy reading, and happy 2026! I hope you’ve had a little bit of a break and are looking forward to the new year.

Here’s to a great 2026, and that you will soon have copies of, “Into the Deadlands” and “The Society for the Protection of Dragons & Magical Creatures & Demons” in hand. So keep your eyes peeled!

Happy New Year 🥂
